Hope House Home for Boys

The cards that I sell here in Chapala and Ajijic, Mexico benefit the dental program for the boys at Hope House in the nearby village of Ixlahuacan. There are close to 30 boys at the home and many of them come to the home having received no dental treatment. If you live here at Lakeside and would like to order a quality, hand crafted card for a special occasion and help me contribute to this worthy cause, please e-mail me at bettyinchapala@yahoo.com Card price is 50 pesos; the entire sales price is donated to Hope House.

Fall Cards

I made two cards today and since they are in the same color families I am sharing them with you in one post. The card on the left was made for the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge 69. It is my clean and simple rendition of their sketch. Paper is from K&Co. (solids) and Basic Grey (patterned). The main image is from Annabelle Stamps (Thoughtful Stems) and the small sentiment stamp is from Stampin' Up. My camera didn't quite catch the true colors of the solid cardstock; it's really a lighter and darker green.
The card on the right was made for the color challenge at stampTV. The sentiment is from Gina K. Designs, (Say It With Flowers), illustrated by Melanie Muenchinger. The main sunflower image is from Just Inklined which I received from imagEnation and colored with colored pencils, blended with baby oil.
