Hope House Home for Boys

The cards that I sell here in Chapala and Ajijic, Mexico benefit the dental program for the boys at Hope House in the nearby village of Ixlahuacan. There are close to 30 boys at the home and many of them come to the home having received no dental treatment. If you live here at Lakeside and would like to order a quality, hand crafted card for a special occasion and help me contribute to this worthy cause, please e-mail me at bettyinchapala@yahoo.com Card price is 50 pesos; the entire sales price is donated to Hope House.

A Vase of Flowers

My card below started out with this Repeat Impressions sketch. Unfortunately, the paper I chose did not work with the sets of three on either side at the bottom of the card so I won't be entering it into the challenge but I am grateful for the sketch!

The image I used is from Beccy's Place. My last post used one of her colored images but I did the coloring on this one with Stampin' Up watercolor crayons and a blender pen and then cut it out and popped up on the oval mats. The white was embossed with Swiss Dots ef, but don't know if you can see it in the picture. Beccy's September challenge is to make a card using any one of her images and you can enter as often as you like, so this one will be entered in that challenge, along with the card in my previous post.

Hope you all have a weekend full of crafting time!
Betty

Beautiful and springy. Your roses are gorgeous and you are much closer to the sketch than I was on mine. ha!

Another beautiful card Betty! You are on a roll! I just love how you coloured the peonies, so soft and pretty and a great colour combination too... my favourite. Well done.
Cheers,
Beccy

Beautiful peonies. I think this works for the sketch at THTSB. Should enter it. Have a good weekend.
