Hope House Home for Boys

The cards that I sell here in Chapala and Ajijic, Mexico benefit the dental program for the boys at Hope House in the nearby village of Ixlahuacan. There are close to 30 boys at the home and many of them come to the home having received no dental treatment. If you live here at Lakeside and would like to order a quality, hand crafted card for a special occasion and help me contribute to this worthy cause, please e-mail me at bettyinchapala@yahoo.com Card price is 50 pesos; the entire sales price is donated to Hope House.

Christmas Cards

I am totally thrilled with the number of Christmas cards I have made so far, thanks to some wonderful challenges. These two are made for the ABC Christmas Challenge -- Q is for Quick and Easy. We were given a sketch to use for our cards and I knew what I wanted to do immediately! I recently purchased this four square Christmas tree stamp from Stubby Stampers. Isn't the sketch just perfect for it??
The Red, Kraft and White card was made for the color challenge at Just For Fun Friday, using the same sketch. The Peace stamp is one I used for my Christmas cards a couple of years ago. Thanks to these challenges, I may be able to have a different card for each person on my list rather than just using one design. Hope so, anyway!
