Hope House Home for Boys

The cards that I sell here in Chapala and Ajijic, Mexico benefit the dental program for the boys at Hope House in the nearby village of Ixlahuacan. There are close to 30 boys at the home and many of them come to the home having received no dental treatment. If you live here at Lakeside and would like to order a quality, hand crafted card for a special occasion and help me contribute to this worthy cause, please e-mail me at bettyinchapala@yahoo.com Card price is 50 pesos; the entire sales price is donated to Hope House.

Encouragement

I love the sentiment on this card. It comes from Gina K. Designs' Insiration Mosaic, illustrated by Melanie Muenchinger. Can't think of anything much better than having hope when I wake up and peace when I go to bed! The colors are blue, green and chocolate -- the color challenge issued by Carla Suto at stampTV. The sketch is from Midnight Madness. Here are the sketches; you can take your pick -- fancy or not. I tend to use less embellies, so I usually go with the clean and simple!

Sunday, July 4 is the deadline to enter a card for the color challenge and Monday, July 5 is the last day for the sketch challenge.
