Hope House Home for Boys

The cards that I sell here in Chapala and Ajijic, Mexico benefit the dental program for the boys at Hope House in the nearby village of Ixlahuacan. There are close to 30 boys at the home and many of them come to the home having received no dental treatment. If you live here at Lakeside and would like to order a quality, hand crafted card for a special occasion and help me contribute to this worthy cause, please e-mail me at bettyinchapala@yahoo.com Card price is 50 pesos; the entire sales price is donated to Hope House.

Create.....

Well, just call me "Spoilsport" this week. I went and got bitten by a stomach bug so we had to cancel our trip up in the mountains. Hopefully, we'll get a chance to go back before too long.

We have a lovely wall decoration hanging in our spare bedroom. I am quite taken with it so I took a picture and made my card with it. I stamped and embossed the word "Create" which is one word from a Hero Arts stamp. My colors are SU, Blush Blossom, Taken With Teal, and Night of Navy. The only embellishments are teal pearls.

Hope you enjoyed the card and I'll try to "wow" you with some gorgeous pictures later on!

Lol, when I looked at your card, my first thought was that the mexican art had taken you and then I read your post and was right. This is so creative and unique and so glad you are sharing with us. Can't wait to see some new pictures. I am so happy you are adjusting and loving living there.
