Hope House Home for Boys

The cards that I sell here in Chapala and Ajijic, Mexico benefit the dental program for the boys at Hope House in the nearby village of Ixlahuacan. There are close to 30 boys at the home and many of them come to the home having received no dental treatment. If you live here at Lakeside and would like to order a quality, hand crafted card for a special occasion and help me contribute to this worthy cause, please e-mail me at bettyinchapala@yahoo.com Card price is 50 pesos; the entire sales price is donated to Hope House.

Wedding Card

I knew this week seemed like it has been pretty busy and I just checked my blog and realized that I haven't posted since Tuesday! We had a get-together at our house on Wednesday evening for games with friends; then on Thursday we visited a pastor in a small village nearby and took Larry's mom's clothes for he and his wife to distribute to folks there who need clothing; then today we went to lunch to say good-bye to friends who are leaving tomorrow morning to drive back to Missouri.

Also found time to make this wedding card for church friends who have a niece getting married tomorrow. I found the image from a free clip art site online; embossed the glossy white cardstock with Cuttlebug's folder from the Paper Lace II set; sentiment is computer generated (spanish provided by my friends!) and cut out with Spellbinders' Fancy Tags.

Hoping you all have a fantastic weekend!

Hi there, Betty! This is SO beautiful. I need to make more wedding cards myself. You did a lovely job. I'd LOVE to have you link it up in this week's challenge at Word Art Wednesday. We're always SO blessed to have you join us, and hope you can stop by this week.
Hugs!
