All That Glitters
Hello friends! The postman was very good to me yesterday -- he brought me an envelope with goodies from Flourishes.Wish you could see how the glitter on the ornament and the edges of the die cut make this card sparkle! I used a stamp from the set All That Glitters that you can find here. Take a look at all the beautiful Christmas ornaments in this set! I'm an ornament-a-holic; I have to make myself NOT look at ornaments in stores because I have too many as it is -- so, playing with them on cards is a pretty good substitute!! I will be entering this card in the Just For Fun Color Challenge 24 (olive, cranberry, yellow). The die cut is Nestabilities Label Twelve which was also in that envelope that arrived yesterday!! Can anyone point me to a challenge where you have to use something new???????
Hope to see you again soon!
Betty

What a beautiful card, Betty. You will be so far ahead on Christmas with all these images to use!! I love the sparkle and those labels are so pretty. Congrats on the new goodies, sorry I don't know of any challenges for new things, but you could play at TMITA/PCC and use some of these things. Nina is having a sale on certain digis right now.
Great Christmas card! Love all the sparkle! I'm so glad you played along in the Just For Fun color challenge with us!

Betty,
How wonderful for you to have such a very helpful postman. LOL Do think you could share him maybe???? LOL I love card and yes I too must stay away from ornaments. I have a passion for the vintage ones and we don't even put up a tree any more! So on this little mini tree 3 1/2 feet on my counter I have 4 inch ornaments! My husband just thought I was nuts. Now he likes it!
