Speedy the Cat's Friends No Ribbon Challenge
The latest challenge issued by Speedy the Cat's Friends is to use twine, bakers twine, jute, yarn, anything other than ribbon on your card. My card uses paper and a punchout from a scrapbook kit called Great Outdoors. I wanted to convey the impression of Speedy the Cat looking out of the window from inside his house at a bunch of birds on a wire.
The inside of the card says "May your future in your new home be filled with much joy and laughter". We have some friends here who are going to be closing on their new home on Friday. It is such a wonderful story. They were having dinner with a friend who is in the real estate business. They mentioned to her that they were in the market to buy a washer and dryer and that talk led to them buying a house!! And it was all accomplished within a few days! The way things happen around here is just incredible sometimes and this time it couldn't have happened to a nicer couple -- congrats to Bob & Sue on their new home!

oh Betty, this is perfect. What a terrific idea using the string as the birds line. And then the cat sitting there. I am so going to use this idea and it really made me smile. Thanks for the grin. Thanks for entering your creations in the challenge with Speedy the Cat. Good luck in the drawing.
