Hope House Home for Boys

The cards that I sell here in Chapala and Ajijic, Mexico benefit the dental program for the boys at Hope House in the nearby village of Ixlahuacan. There are close to 30 boys at the home and many of them come to the home having received no dental treatment. If you live here at Lakeside and would like to order a quality, hand crafted card for a special occasion and help me contribute to this worthy cause, please e-mail me at bettyinchapala@yahoo.com Card price is 50 pesos; the entire sales price is donated to Hope House.

Table for One

This card was created for the Just Us Girls Sketch Challenge and also the Papertrey Ink Scrap-tastic Challenge. All dp is from My Mind's Eye, Simply Delightful, that I used for recent projects. Sentiment is Stampin' Up, Short and Sweet. The photo was taken at one of my backyard bird feeders of a Red-bellied Woodpecker. Maybe we can get together and "do lunch" some time soon!

I love how you use photos on your cards Betty, this one is a beaut! - if I look out my window just now it's wet and a bit grey looking!!!
Now I have to ask why this bird is called a Red Bellied Woodpecker? I see red but nowhere near the belly!!!!!

LOVE the pic! Nice card! I should send you an email I just received about a woodpecker making a hole in a tree and a snake comes out and tries to eat it! Amazing!
