Hope House Home for Boys

The cards that I sell here in Chapala and Ajijic, Mexico benefit the dental program for the boys at Hope House in the nearby village of Ixlahuacan. There are close to 30 boys at the home and many of them come to the home having received no dental treatment. If you live here at Lakeside and would like to order a quality, hand crafted card for a special occasion and help me contribute to this worthy cause, please e-mail me at bettyinchapala@yahoo.com Card price is 50 pesos; the entire sales price is donated to Hope House.

Be Strong and Courageous

Are you ready for a purple card? Hope so, because that's what is on the menu here today!

I have three challenges that played a part in this card:

Paper Players #79 - make a clean and simple card with a tag on it
Sugar Creek Hollow -- go girly!
Word Art Wednesday -- use the word art of Joshua 1:9

Hope you enjoyed my card. Now, I need to share a picture that my hubby took of the sunrise this morning as seen from our front porch. He said that he wasn't able to catch it at it's peak gorgeousness, but I'm pretty impressed with what I see here!

Wishing you beautiful sunrises and bright days ahead,
Betty

Betty,
This card is drop dead gorgeous. I love the way you secured the tag with the sentiment and it really work well in these color tones. I love all the embellishments and the dry embossing around the sentiment.
