Hope House Home for Boys

The cards that I sell here in Chapala and Ajijic, Mexico benefit the dental program for the boys at Hope House in the nearby village of Ixlahuacan. There are close to 30 boys at the home and many of them come to the home having received no dental treatment. If you live here at Lakeside and would like to order a quality, hand crafted card for a special occasion and help me contribute to this worthy cause, please e-mail me at bettyinchapala@yahoo.com Card price is 50 pesos; the entire sales price is donated to Hope House.

Chinese New Year Pocket Card

Today's card is for Monday's challenge at stampTV  by Kary Lim to make a Pocket/Envelope card that includes the color red, which is the color associated with Chinese New Year.

I have used Gina K. Designs stamps; flowers from the Spring Mix stampTV kit and the sentiment is from Fanciful Tags. The butterfly and the Spellbinders banner die cut are popped up on dimensionals.

I've been having trouble putting a card together the past couple of days even though I have a number of challenges written down that should be very interesting ones. Thanks to Colleen for pointing me to the stampTV challenge. Hopefully, it has given me a jump start and my "card-making motor" will keep on humming!!
