Hope House Home for Boys

The cards that I sell here in Chapala and Ajijic, Mexico benefit the dental program for the boys at Hope House in the nearby village of Ixlahuacan. There are close to 30 boys at the home and many of them come to the home having received no dental treatment. If you live here at Lakeside and would like to order a quality, hand crafted card for a special occasion and help me contribute to this worthy cause, please e-mail me at bettyinchapala@yahoo.com Card price is 50 pesos; the entire sales price is donated to Hope House.

Dragonfly Green

My card today is for the sketch challenge at Midnight Madness. It uses some of the same paper and ribbon I used for their previous challenge. The dragonfly stamp is from Studio G.
Have you heard about the upcoming cruise sponsored by Midnight Madness? It will be leaving from Jacksonville, Florida on Sept. 9, aboard the Carnival Fascination, going to Freeport and Nassau in the Bahamas. Best of all, there will be card making classes, make-n-takes, door prizes, extra surprises and more! What could be better??? I'd love to be able to go but I would love to have some friends go with me. Think it over, guys; see if it might be a possibility for you!!
There's also some blog candy being offered to help spread the word about the cruise. Here's a picture of the candy being offered. Click on "blog candy" above to be taken to the info page.
Let's go cruising now, everybody's cruising now......

Check it out,
Betty

Betty this is simply darling. Love your pretty main focal point and the sweet ribbon. Your going to laugh my friend, but I just saw this beauty of a card pop up on Grace's blog in the side bar while I was commenting. I just had to come over and tell you how cute and adorable this is. That image is so heartwarming. What a beautiful card Chris. A great work of "Heart"!!!
